The Solid Waste Advisory Committee and the Brookline High School Environmental Action Club collected expanded polystyrene — what most of us call Styrofoam — on the last Saturday of Climate Action Week. We had a big turnout and diverted almost 70 cubic yards from the waste stream!

Megaupload shutdown and arrests: The indictment
Text of the indictment issues by the US Department of Justice against the website Megaupload.com and people associated with it. The website has been shut down and the department reports that 20 search warrants have been exectuted in 9 countires, with $50 Million worth of assets seized.
